CouncilUpdated Media Uploader

Clutton parish council is responsible for local matters such as allotments, street cleaning, footpaths in the parish, bus shelters, some of the street lighting, leisure area (adjacent to Cabin Club, etc.) and other local concerns. It can also advise Bath & North East Somerset council on planning applications, road signage and traffic management schemes.

Our local authority, which takes care of recycling and refuse collections, mobile library, highways and other matters, is Bath and North East Somerset.

To raise any matters of concern with the parish council, you may:

  • Email the clerk to the council, Stephen Barran
  • Phone him on 452411
  • Attend any council meeting. Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month (except August) from 7:30pm at the village hall. You will be invited to speak at the start of the meeting under ‘public submissions’

Parish Plan

The Parish Plan was adopted by the Council in October 2010. The Plan sets out the Council’s vision for the future of the village and some of the goals that it seeks to achieve in the coming years. Hard copies of the plan can be purchased from the Clerk (see above) – but you can download the Plan for free here.
