I am trying to find out who James Travis’ parents were and also the maiden name of his wife Elizabeth. James was born about 1803 and died in Clutton in 1876. His wife was born about 1804 and died in Clutton in 1869. They had 10 children, most of whom were born in Clutton.

    Thanks for your help.

    Turner
Born January 1843 in Clutton, Decimus Arthur Turner went to Quebec around the 1860s. He married in Quebec to a Scottish girl, Agnes Brown, and they had four children in Montreal. In 1883, they moved to Denver, Colorado and Des died two years later of a sudden illness. He is buried in Denver. He and Agnes are my great grandparents.

His parents names were William Turner and Mary Newton Turner. William Turner was a schoolmaster in Clutton.

Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.
