Parent and Toddler

In Clutton and the surrounding area there are numerous facilities for parents with small children.

Play Areas

There are two play areas in Clutton, providing slides, swings, climbing frames and more:

  • Burchill Close towards the top of the hill. Maintained by the county council.
  • Village Hall Playing Field. Maintained by the parish council.

Clutton Mother, Baby & Toddler Group

A group for all carers of children: mothers, fathers, grand-parents, child-minders – all are welcome. We meet every week for a chat over coffee and provide toys and refreshments for the children. Price £1.50 for first child, 50p for additional children. New members are always welcome.
Meet in the Village Hall, Wednesday, 9:00-11:00
Contact: Karen on 452560

Temple Tots

A group for parents and carers of babies, toddlers and young children up to pre-school age. Pregnant ladies are also welcome. We offer friendship & support to adults whilst children have the opportunity to socialise, play, learn and most importantly have fun. At a typical session, kids who are able are encouraged to get on and do their own thing, leaving adults free to relax and enjoy ‘grown up’ conversation.
Meet at Temple Cloud Village Hall, Tuesday mornings.

Jigsaw Club

The Jigsaw club is a parent/carer and child group aimed at children aged 18 months and upwards. Jigsaw is an ideal stepping stone and complement to pre-school groups, and is an extension of the Mothers & Toddlers Group. New members always welcome.
We meet in the village hall every Monday 9:45-11:45 during term time only.
